Zoë Walker & Neil Bromwich work both collaboratively and as individuals. They explore the space between real and imagined locations, drawing on the unique atmosphere of specific geographical locations and populations.
Major projects include; My Island Home, Victoria and Albert Museum, How the Universe Sang Itself into Being, COAST, UK, Fusion, in collaboration with St Johns Hospital, Livingstone and The Fruit Market Gallery, Edinburgh and Sci-Fi Hot Tub ‘Art and Architecture’ program at Kielder Forest.
Artists residencies and commissions include: Love Canon, Les Ateliers des Arques, France; In Search of a Small Planet for cross-media art project ‘TV Swansong’, UK venues including the Baltic, Newcastle and TATE, Liverpool,
Group exhibitions include: Urban Nomads at The South London Gallery, London; Cet été là, Centre Régional d’Art Contemporain, Sète, France.
Solo exhibitions include: Portable Paradise at the Economist Plaza; The Collective Gallery, Edinburgh; Friendly Frontier, Habitat London; Nesting, Angel Row Gallery, Nottingham; Dream Cloud, Travelling Gallery Edinburgh and Somewhere Special, Houldsworth Gallery London, Canberra Contemporary Art Space and The Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Melbourne.
